Remember when "branded content" was the buzzword of the moment? It seems like just yesterday.
In 2016, I led a fledgling branded content team. We developed a 17-week digital video series for XFINITY called Boomer Between the Games. Each week, Boomer Esiason shared his takes on the week's games, taking calls from special guests - Phil Simms, Bill Cowher, Bart Scott, Chris Simms, Mike Quick and Brian Jones.
Though the series was digital-first, teaser vignettes also ran on radio and television, driving viewers to the full-length show.
