In 2012, I got a crash course in SXSW event sponsorship and venue management. My role as project manager gave me a unique view into every aspect of curating the stage, managing budgets, working with celebrity interior designers, Bob + Cortney Novogratz, and even sourcing local artists and landscapers to deck out the space. For every event, we worked with an artist to create a custom poster that was screen-printed at each show.
